Youth Services Summer Intern

The Ely Public Library is seeking an engaged Youth Services Intern to join the team this summer. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with youth of all ages while supporting our summer reading challenge and youth programs. This is your chance to develop practical skills in planning and implementing children’s programming, foster a love of reading, and strengthen your leadership and creative problem-solving abilities.

This temporary internship is open to candidates who are 16 years and older. The internship runs from June through August 2026.  This position’s is 30-35 hours/week during the day, with occasional nights and weekends.   This opportunity will be posted until filled.  The City of Ely is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
